Following on from the government’s announcement, Leicester and all surrounding areas are now in Tier 4, so we at Harveys would like to take this opportunity to reiterate what our COVID safe working practices are to ensure that we are working in the safest way possible for our staff and customers.
As part of the tier 4 restrictions, non - essential retail outlets are not permitted to open, therefore our showroom will be closed until further notice.
We are taking the opportunity to refurbish the showroom so we look forward to welcoming you back to a brand new look area that will showcase our new range of products as soon as we can.
Our team continue to work from the office or from home, (covering the normal working hours) in a COVID safe way and are at the end of the phone / email to help with any questions or enquiries you may have. This does mean that we have fewer people than normal in the office at any one time, so please bear with us if it take us a bit longer than usual to get back to you.
We have developed a remote design consultation option that enables you to send in photos of your property that we can manipulate to show what your new products would look like.

The government guidance does permit us to continue with our in-house installations, as long as we follow the rules for working in occupied homes. Please see attached guidelines, which have been briefed into all of our staff. Before any installation, our team members and customers must comply with our COVID secure Policy and confirm that they are not isolating, suffering from coronavirus or living with a person that has recently tested positive.
If you have an installation booked but are unsure about us working in your home then please contact us as soon as possible. We will be happy to go over or safe working procedures or work with you to reschedule your installation.
The impact of the pandemic on our supply chain, together with the high levels of demand across the industry nationwide has impacted the availability of many of our products, and we are experiencing delays in supply, particularly of hardware, composite doors and glass.
The Harveys team and our hardworking suppliers are doing their best to minimise the impact this may have on your project, but please bear in mind many of these situations are entirely beyond our control and some delays maybe inevitable as we work our way through these tricky circumstances.
