## Challenge:

The owners of this charming farmhouse were faced with an all-too-common problem – an old timber front door that no longer functioned properly. It was short in height, unsightly, and clashed with the overall look of the renovated property.

While a modern composite door was considered, the sizing constraints and aesthetic mismatch ruled it out. Although uPVC doors offered excellent thermal performance and security, the owners were concerned that a standard option wouldn't suit the character of their period home or meet conservation area requirements.

## Solution:

Our approach was to design a bespoke engineered uPVC door tailored to the property's unique needs. The door was crafted in a conservation-friendly agate grey, perfectly matching the existing window frames.

To enhance the period feel, we incorporated bespoke stained glasswork and black heritage-style hardware, delivering both charm and practicality.

## Result:

The final installation is a beautiful blend of authenticity and innovation. The door looks entirely in keeping with the traditional facade, yet offers the security, insulation, and low maintenance expected from a modern uPVC solution.
