Hi, I am Sally and I have been running Harveys Windows with Richard for 13 years now. After 15 years working in the food industry in quality control / product development and then for Boots the Chemist managing a team providing technical support to a number of special projects, I became involved with Harveys having met the original Harvey family on a skiing holiday – and the rest as they say is history!
I love the fact that my job involves so many different aspects including managing people / finances and most importantly of all making sure the customers are being looked after.
With over 30 years experience in the construction and double glazing industries covering both commercial and domestic projects I am a time served brick layer / builder and I can offer expert, friendly and honest advice on a range of subjects depending on the project you are planning – from replacement doors and windows to larger building projects such as conservatories, orangeries and porches.
I love working alongside my two sales and design colleagues and between us we have over 70 years experience in the field – we share all our ideas and best practices on a daily basis to give our customers the best service possible from the word go.

Hi I’m Spencer and Richard, one of the directors is my dad. I have been working at Harvey’s since I left school, and after training with Andy for 4 years, I have now been a lead fitter myself for about 4 years. I am really motivated to make sure our company is a success as you never know, one day I might be a director myself!
Hello, my name is Paul and I work at our showroom and office on Empire Road. Day to day I’m involved with the ordering of materials, arranging and administrating service calls and other works as well as dealing with customers, tradesmen and our suppliers. I joined Harveys earlier last year with a background of several years within property and maintenance and many more within customer service. All of the staff have been great and it’s been easy to slot in, with the focus here being on customer care and a real pride in the quality of work delivered. My name is Jackie, I am part of a small team in the office who do the accounts, administration and customer care alongside Sally. It is a busy little office, dealing with lots of enquiries every day. The majority of the Harveys team have been working here a number of years, myself included. I have been here nearly 20 years, so we all know each other really well and are one big happy family – usually!!
Hi, I’m Sharday, one of the directors Richard is my dad and Spencer (fitter) is my baby brother so YES we really are a family business! I have been here for 9 years now and still love every day that I am in. It is great to be able to do the hours which suit me and my little family – Norris the dog (7 years old), Iris (3) and Percy (nearly 1).
I have been working at Harveys as a support engineer for 9 months now, having been a fitters mate at Harveys before that. I enjoy the fact that I am left to my own devices with my daily worksheet, and given responsibility to sort out problems and talk to the office.
I have been a Harveys service engineer for nearly 10 years now and my role means I have to know a lot about everything and think on my feet all the time. I am generally known as the smiler as no matter what happens I am always smiling and chuckling – which hopefully brightens up everyones day.
I have been a lead fitter at Harveys for too long to remember and have been responsible for training up lots of guys into the lead fitter role. I love being given building projects that I can manage myself over the course of a week or so, I get a lot of satisfaction from seeing all aspects of a job through from beginning to end and seeing the customers dream come true!
I have recently returned to Harveys to work with Andy having tried a few other things over the last couple of years. I am enjoying getting back into the team. I take great pride in making customers houses look their very best.
I have been a fitter at Harveys for about 9 months now, as they were advertising for new people when they got really busy. Having worked for other companies, I like how organised Harveys are, and how they prioritise looking after the customer’s needs.
I have been working with Jim for a few months now having been a chef before this. Although this is a real change in direction, I am really enjoying learning new skills and being part of the team – even if I do have to make the tea in the mornings. I am waiting to see how I feel when the weather gets colder!
I have worked for Harveys for a little over 20 years now – man and boy! From factory fabricator, to fitter, to conservatory surveyor and much more. I survey all the jobs that are sold by our sales team and take on the role to look after all the installers needs early in the mornings and help oversee the work from start to finish. I am always happy to help customers and staff alike and answer any questions so they all get the full Harveys experience!
I have worked in sales in both business and residential for over 35 years. Giving best advice is paramount to the customer’s needs. I have been at Harveys now for over 4 and a half years, planning everything from single window installations to large window projects, conservatories, porches and orangeries etc.
I enjoy working for the team at Harveys because of the dedicated service that is given to our customers and the quality of the installation of the projects we are involved in.

Having worked as a musician since the age of 17, performing, tour managing and in radio promotions, in the 1990’s I came off the road, settled down and had a family.
I then got involved in the window industry, working as a tele-canvasser, progressing through team leader and then spending 12 years as a partner in a local company.
I joined Harveys 6 years ago. I know Richard, one of the directors of old. I really like the family atmosphere and honesty of the company. They operate a no pressure sales approach, and keep an eye for quality at all times.
